Armed Individual in Menno Township

Mifflin County, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown is investigating a crash in the area of the 100 block of Main Street in Menno Township, Mifflin County. The crash involved a black non-hispanic male that brandished a handgun prior to fleeing on foot from the scene.

PSP Lewistown is asking residents in the area to shelter in place. It is also recommended to locate an alternate route if planning to travel through the area.

A heavy police presence will be in the area until the incident is resolved. Updates will be posted as soon as possible.
