LACK TOWNSHIP DUI
The driver in a Lack Township, Juniata County crash was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Hadara B Beverlin, 28 of East Waterford, was traveling south on Route 75 at 7:59pm on November 19. When attempting to turn into her driveway, Beverlin drove off the right side of the roadway and into a ditch.
Beverlin was uninjured in the crash, an investigation is ongoing.
TURBETT TOWNSHIP DRUG POSSESSION
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on Route 75 near Sand Bar Road in Turbett Township, Juniata County.
During the stop a 19 year old Port Royal male was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Charges are pending in the case.
WEIS STORE PEDESTRIAN STRUCK
Two people were struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Walker Township, Juniata County Weis Market.
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown say that Connie C Benner, 84 of Mifflintown, struck Jeremy M Bush, 47, and Johnna Bush, 44, both of Thompsontown with her vehicle in the parking lot of the store.
Benner was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured, the other two victims were transported to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for possible injuries.
