LOWREY 11th INNING WALKOFF HOMER LEADS JUNIATA SOFTBALL TO 8-5 WIN


Juniata Softball's winning streak is now at 10.


Juniata Junior Regan Lowrey hit a walkoff homerun in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the Lady Indians an 8-5 win over the Lady Rams.


Juniata now moves to 12-1 on the year as one of the best seasons in the history of the program. Currently they sit second in the PIAA District 6 AAA Softball standings.


Meanwhile, on the mound, pitcher Liz Gaisior has 37 strikesouts in the last 13 innings of play.


PORTER TOWNSHIP CRASH


Pennsylvania State Police at Huntingdon responded to a single vehicle crash on Hartslog Valley Road in Porter Township, Huntingdon County.


Steve R Winters, 65 of Elizabethtown, was traveling south on his 2019 Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide with a group of motorcycles when he failed to negotiate a curve. Winters attempted to correct his vehicle where he lost control and slid on his side on the right side of the roadway.


Winters was transported to Penn Highlands Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries.
