NEW BLOOMFIELD WOMAN MAULED TO DEATH
A Perry County woman was mauled to death by two Great Danes in Center Township, Perry County on Thursday.
Kristin Potter, 38 of New Bloomfield, was mauled to death while feeding her neighbors dogs. Emergency personel and police were unable to reach Potter until animal control arrived and could tranquilize the animals according to WGAL.
A third Great Dane and a French Billdog were not involved in the attack. The Great Danes who mauled Potter were euthanized. The incident remains under investigation.
HIT AND RUN WALKER TOWNSHIP CRASH
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating a hit and run that occured on Route 322 Eastbound in Walker Township, Juniata County.
Carol A Barner, 60 of Mifflintown, was traveling eastbound on Route 322 at approximately 7:19am on March 17 when an unknown tractor trailer struck her vehicle when trying to change lanes.
The tractor trailer did not stop and continued. Barner escaped injury and was wearing her seatbelt. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown.
FERMANAGH TOWNSHIP CRASH
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown also responded to a crash on Route 322 in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.
Daniel C Shamlian, 27 of Woodbury, New Jersey, was traveling westbound on Route 322 when his vehicle left the left lane of the roadway. Shamlian then tried to correct his 2010 Suburu Forester and lost control striking a concrete barrier.
Shamlian was wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. Traffic citations were filed through Magisterial District Court.

Rico Abreau the winner, he was followed by Brad Sweet, Devon Borden, Carson Macedo and Justin Peck to round out the top five.
The remainder of the top 10 finished Danny Dietrich, Logan Schuchart, Gio Scelzi, Brent Marks and David Gravel.
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series heads back south to the Talladega Short Track in Alabama on March 24.
Short Track Super Series at Selinsgrove:
Michael Maresca the winner. He was follwed by Billy Pauch Jr, Matt Stangle, Alex Payne, Danny Creeden, Jeff Strunk, Mike Mahaney, Matt Sheppard and Peter Britten.
The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series presented by Sunoco South Region now moves to Birdgeport Motorsports Park on Saturday, March 25.
Port Royal Speedway:
Port Royal Speedway returns to action on Saturday, March 25 with 410 Sprint cars, ULMS Late Models, and Limited Late Models.
Racing at 4pm. General admission is $20, students $10.
