PORT ROYAL HINDERING APPREHENSION
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were disptached to 217 Market Street in Port Royal Borough, Juniata County for an unknown incident.
Following an investigation, Christopher Wayavong, 34 of Lewistown, was charged through Magisterial District Court for Hindering Apprehension.
MCCLURE BOROUGH BURGLARY
Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded to a residence on East Walker Street in McClure Borough, Snyder County.
Four invididuals, a 17 year old Mt Pleasant Mills male, a 18 year old McClure man, a 15 year old Beavertown male, and a 17 year old Middleburg male, entered a residence without permission.
They were all charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Loitering and Prowling at Night in the 1:30am incident.
OLIVER TOWNSHIP ASSAULT
Pennsylvania State Police at Newport responded to Martin Drive in Oliver Township, Perry County for a reported Domestic.
The victim stated she was assaulted by Michael Dean, 30 of Tower City. The victim had visible injuries including a head contusion and a split upper lip. Prior to the arrival of PSP Dean had left the residence. An arrest warrent was then carried out on Dean. Dean was arrainged on $15,000 secured monetary bond. He is lodged at the Perry County Prison.
WEST PERRY TOWNSHIP THEFT BY DECEPTION
Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove are investigating a theft by deception incident in West Perry Township, Snyder County.
A 78 year old Richfield woman reported that she was contacted by a person claiming to be a member of her family. The caller told the woman that they had been arrested and were too embarressed. They then told the victim to not tell anyone else before instructing the victim to pay $9,500 cash to a person who came to the victim's house for the "bail payment". An investigation is ongoing.
