FATAL JUNIATA COUNTY FIRE


One person was killed in a house fire in Fayette Township, Juniata County.


Crews were called to Leroy Lane for a reported residential fire with entrapment. Once on scene they found a fully involved structure. One elderly female was not able to make it out of the home.


Crews from Juniata, Perry, Snyder, and Mifflin Counties all responded or transferred as a result of the blaze.



WALKER TOWNSHIP CRASH


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a crash on Route 322 westbound in Walker Township, Juniata County.


Jennifer B Miller, 45 of Bellefonte was traveling in the left lane in her 2019 Infinity when she came upon a traffic control device that was diverting all traffic into the right lane.


Miller failed to merge properly and side swiped both the unit carrying the traffic control device and a 2014 International Harvester driven by Jacklyn A Wilt, 60 of Mifflin.


Miller was transported to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for a suspected injury, a passenger in Miller's vehicle was also transported to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for a suspected serious injury. No occupants of the other two vehicles were injuried


Miller was charged in the 1pm crash.



WALKER TOWNSHIP DUI


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown also responded to a single vehicle crash on William Penn Highway in Walker Township, Juniata County.


Sebastion J Bozian, 21 of McAlisterville, was traveling east in his 2009 BMW at 11:40pm on March 18 when he left the roadway striking a guide rail before hitting two utility poles.


Bozian and a passenger, Dylan B Spade, also 21 of McAlisterville were transported to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries. According to PSP both were wearing their seatbelts and had admitted to being under the influence of alcohol.


Charges are pending against Bozian.

Port Royal Speedway will also be hosting a candy scramble for the kids in the family section of the infield.
