NO JUNIATA COUNTY TAX INCREASE
The Juniata County Commissioners have finalized the county budget for the next fiscal year and it does not include a tax increase.
As part of the new budget, non union county employees will receive a 3% raise.
2022 MIFFLINTOWN CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
The Mifflintown Christmas tree lighting will be held tonight (December 10) at the walking bridge. The event will get underway with a flashlight ornament hunt at 5:30, Christmas Carolers at 6pm, the tree lighting and scripture reading will be at 6:30.
Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available at Guante's. Santa and Mrs Claus will be on hand as well.
