MIFFLINTOWN SHEETZ DRUG POSSESSION


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were sent to the Sheetz Store in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County for a report of individuals smoking marijuana on the property.


Once on scene, PSP made contact with a male and a female. The female, Amanda Zimmerman, 28 of Archdale, North Carolina, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.


Zimmerman was taken into custody.



MIFFLIN BOROUGH THREATENING STATEMENTS


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were sent to Parker Street in Mifflin Borough, Juniata County.


At 7:18pm on April 7, Brendliz Oriz, 27 of Mifflin, told PSP that her neighbor, 46 year old Melanie Barry of Mifflin, was making threatening statements.


Non-traffic citations were filed though Magisterial District Judge Tracy Powell's office.

Port Royal Speedway

Devon Borden won an intense battle with Lance Dewease to win Saturday night's 410 Weikerts Livestock 410 Sprint Car Feature. Lance Dewease was second, Zeb Wise was third, Dylan Cisney was fourth and Mike Wagner rounded out the top five.


Gregg Satterlee picked up the win in the Selinsgrove Ford Super Late Model feature. Dillan Stake was second, Rick Eckert was third, Hayes Mattern was fourth and Mason Zeigler was fifth.


Logan Spahr led the Penns Valley Meat Market 305 Sprint Car feature from start to finish. Seth Schnoke was second, Ken Duke third, Dylan Shatzer fourth and Zach Rhodes was fifth.
