METALLO SENTANCED TO 12-28 YEARS IN STATE PRISON
Daniel Lukas Metallo has been sentenced to 12-28 years in State Prison.
Metallo was arrested in 2021 following a report that he raped a juvenile victim in Lack Township, Juniata County for approximately 10 years. At the time of the report in 2021 the victim was age 19.
“You’re the most foul, disgusting and inappropriate person I’ve ever had in front of me for sentencing,” Metallo was told while standing before Judge Kenneth Mummah on Wednesday morning according to a source and a post by the Juniata Sentinel.
Metallo was guilty on charges of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse involving a person less than 16 years of age, Corruption of Minors, Aggravated Indecent Assault with a person less than 13 years old, Aggravated Indecent Assault with a person less than 16 years old, Indecent Assault with a Person Less than 13 years of Age, and Incest.

BEALE TOWNSHIP ASSAULT
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to Green Pastures Lane in Beale Township, Juniata County for a reported assault.
Cynthia Zink, 56 of Mifflin and Charles Kline, 59 of Mifflin were both charged through Magisterial District Court.
PACKAGE THEFT
State Police at Lewistown are investigating a theft of a package from a residence.
David Arentz, 65 of Mifflintown reported to police that someone removed a package from his front porch after it was delivered.
The incident remains under investigation.
MONROE TOWNSHIP HARASSMENT
Pennsylvania State Police investigated an incident involving students at the school on Main Street in Monroe Township, Juniata County.
An 11 year old male was threatened by another student at the school. No criminal charges were pursued.
