POKEMON CARDS STOLEN FROM MIFFLINTOWN RUTTERS


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to the Rutters store in Walker Township, Juniata County for a reported theft.


Upon arrival, it was discovered that someone had removed $370.47 worth of Pokemon cards from the establishment. This is the second Rutters in the past month to have had Pokemon cards stolen. The Milroy Rutters was targeted last month.


This incident remains under investigation.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF OVER $1,000


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown respomnded to 117 Bryner Road in Spurce Hill Township, Juniata County.


Matthew Lauver, 54 of Port Royal, reported to police that someone damaged a hay field belonging to him on March 25, 2023 at 12:01am.


Lauver believes the vehicle was a white truck with an LED light bar. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call PSP at Lewistown.


Damage to the field was valued at $1,000.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF UNDER $1,000


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were notified by PennDot that someone shot a sign located at the intersection of Indian Mound Road and Ox Bow Road in Spruce Hill Township, Juniata County.


The unknown actors shot the sign with a shotgun before fleeing in an unknown direction



DRUG PARAPHERNALIA SEIZED IN FERMANAGH TOWNSHIP


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Jeep on Route 35 North near Kauffman Lane in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County driven by a 19 year old female from York Haven, PA.


During the stop, PSP located and seized drug paraphernalia. The incident remains under investigation.

KEITH KAUFFMAN CLASSIC TO PAY $15,000 TO WIN


Port Royal Speedway has announced that the 2023 Keith Kauffman Classic, set to be run as the 34th Annual Red Robin Racing Pennsylvania Speedweek Finale on July 3, will now pay $15,000 to win thanks to the support of Valley Supply.


The event, traditionally run in April, honors Mifflintown resident Keith Kauffman. Kauffman is the winningest driver in the history of Port Royal Speedway.


Valley Supply will also offer a $500 Hard Charger award each night's 410 Sprint Car hard charger throughout the 2023 season.

PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY WILL TRY AGAIN THIS WEEK


Following a rainout last weekend, Port Royal Speedway will try it again this Saturday, April 1.


The program features 410 Sprint Cars, Late Models and Limited Late Models. This is the rain date for the March 25 ULMS Late Model program.


Adult general admission $20, students $10, racing at 6pm.
