MCCLURE WOMAN FOUND SLEEPING STANDING UP IN LEWISTOWN
Lewistown Police responded to The Laundry Room on South Dorcas Street in Lewistown, Mifflin County.
It was reported to police that a female fell over three times while playing Skill games at The Laundry Room. Police arrived to find Maranda Brought, 51 of McClure, leaning over the back of a chair sleeping while standing up.
Police say Brought was extremely impaired from consuming drugs, which she then admitted to. Brought had one shoe halfway off, she was transported and released to a non-impaired adult.
Brought was charged with Public Drunkeness.
LEWISTOWN WOMAN CHARGED WITH TERRORISTIC THREATS
Lewistown Police returned a phone call from a Lewistown resident who reported that someone was making threats toward them.

The caller reported that Brittany Kirk, 25 of Lewistown, was making threats toward her. The caller stated that two females went to Kirk's West Sixth Street residence to return a cell phone. When they arrived at the Kirk residence, Kirk exited the residence brandishing a kitchen knife.
Officers went to Kirk's residence where Kirk told them that she was defending herself and has anger problems. Kirk could not tell officers a time where she felt threatened.
After police left the residence, the original victim notified them that Kirk began making threats to come to their house to stab the victim.
Kirk had been blocked but kept creating new accounts to initiate contact with the victim.
Kirk is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault by physical menace, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
THOMPSONTOWN ALTERCATION
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to Upper Benner Street in Thompsontown Borough, Juniata County.
Upon arrival, police discovered injuries sustained in a domestic altercation between a 42 year old Thompsontown woman and a 46 year old male from Thompsontown.
The incident remains under investigation.
LEWISTOWN DRUG ARREST

Lewistown Police responded to an incident on Valley Street in Lewistown, Mifflin County.
Mifflin County Probation asked for assistance with controlled substances found inside the residence of a person they were supervising.
Mifflin County Probation's search was initiated after Samantha S Weld, 36 of Lewistown, provided a urine sample that showed the presence of controlled substances. During the search Probation found methamphet
amine and other drug paraphernalia.
Weld was charged with possession of a controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
