TURBETT TOWNSHIP -- At 4:47 pm, Route 333 is closed between Tuscarora and Thompsontown due to a house fire. Crews were called to Boxwood Lane, just off Route 333 near the Turbett/Walker Township line, shortly before 4:00. When they arrived they found a working fire. JUNIATA COUNTY THEFT Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a reported theft on Klinger Hollow Road in Susquehanna Township, Juniata County. 15 YEAR OLD FROM NEW BLOOMFIELD CHARGED IN VEHICLE BURGLARIES Pennsylvania State Police at Newport responded to West Main Street in New Bloomfield Borough, Perry County. A 2001 Jeep, 2015 Cheep, and a 2018 Dodge were burglarized. Those vehicles belonged to a 39 year old male, 21 year old male and a 39 year old male all of New Bloomfield. CREWS BATTLE TWO BLAZES IN JUNIATA COUNTY Fire crews were busy as they battled two fires in Juniata County. CREWS FROM SIX COUNTIES BATTLE LACK TOWNSHIP BLAZE Crews from Juniata, Mifflin, Perry, Franklin, Huntingdon, and Cumberland Counties battled a 3 alarm chicken barn fire in Lack Township, Juniata County. At around noon on Sunday, November 23, Juniata County 911 received a call reporting a fire at the barns owned by Tyler Parker of East Waterford. FAYETTE TOWNSHIP TRACTOR TRAILER CRASH Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown have released information on a crash that happened on October 23 in Fayette Township, Juniata County. Thomas Byers, 46 of Mt Pleasant Mills, was traveling on Route 35 when his truck left the roadway adn struck a mailbox and utility pole. The pole was snapped off and landed on top of the trailer.
