PORT ROYAL WOMAN FACES MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES
Lewistown Police responded to West Fourth Street in Lewistown, Mifflin County.
A vehicle that was repeatedly crossing the lane dividers was stopped in the parking lot of Red's Diner. When officers approached the vehicle, a female in the backseat provided police with a false name while hiding an object between her legs. When the female thought the officer wasn't looking she attempted to make secretive movements.
Officers asked the female to exit the vehicle. Once out of the vehicle she was identified as Natalie Malikov, 27 of Port Royal. Malikov had presented a Massachusetts identification card. Malikov confessed to having marijuana that she was not allowed to possess and a digital scale.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and located methamphetamine and meth pipes in Malikov's bag. The front passenger, Robert Leister, 51 of Mifflin, was also found to be in possession of a meth pipe.
Malikov was charged with possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Leister faces charges with possession of drug paraphernalia.
MIFFLIN COUNTY MAN BECOMES IRATE AT BANK
Lewistown Police responded to a bank on East Market Street in Lewistown, Mifflin County.
Andrew Kensinger, 42 of Derry Township, went to the bank to check on an account that had been inactive for two years. The account had a negative balance due to fees charged for inactive accounts.
This angered Kensinger who became irate and began shouting obscenities in the bank. As he made his exit, Kensinger began slamming the door multiple times causing damage to the walls.
