DEVELOPING: MCCLURE HOMICIDE LEADS TO SUSPECT BEING KILLED IN MVA; IDENTITIES RELEASED


Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove responded to West Specht Street in McClure Borough, Snyder County for a homicide.


Jason Andrew Heimbach, 51 of McClure, contacted police and stated that Jason Heimbach, 37 of McClure, had killed his wife. The wife was identified as Amanda Kay Heimbach, 37 of McClure.


Heimbach fled the scene in a 2018 Buick Enclave prior to PSP's arrival. When PSP arrived they found Amanda Heimbach deceased.


Later in the morning on Sunday, State Police at Selinsgrove responded to a crash on Route 104 in Perry Township. Upon arrival police discovered the 2018 Buick Enclave smoldering from being on fire and a deceased male was found in the vehicle.


The registration of the vehicle came back to Amanda Heimbach. Police identified the deceased male in the vehicle as Jason Heimbach. The tractor trailer was parked at the time. No injuries reported in the tractor trailer.



MCVEYTOWN WOMAN DOES DONUTS IN PARKING LOT; STRIKES BUILDING


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an incident on Route 522 in Wayne Township, Mifflin County.


An employee at Hotel Wayne reported that a known individual was intoxicated and doing donuts in the parking lot of the establishment. The vehicle struck the building and fled the scene.


Contact was made with Laurie Atherton, 60 of McVeytown. Atherton displayed signs of impairment. Charges are pending through Magisterial District Court.



ARCH ROCK ROAD DUI


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a crash on Arch Rock Road in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.


A 2009 Chrysler 300 failed to negotiate a lefthand curve and left the roadway and struck the guardrail. Following that impact the vehicle then struck a utilty pole before coming to rest.


The operator of the vehicle, Abdoul Moussa, 46 of Mifflintown, sustained minor injuries in the crash. DUI charges against Moussa will be filed through district court.


PSP was assisted at the scene by Mifflintown Fire, Central Juniata EMS, and Gray's Towing.
