WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT

A large winter storm that has affected a large portion of the nation is on our doorstep. 9 to 17 inches of snow is expected in the listening area. As a result, multiple churches have cancelled their Sunday services and several schools and businesses have already closed for Monday. A complete list can be viewed in the Snow Patrol presented by Geedy's Towing of Mifflintown. Below are some links to travel restrictions that have been announced in recent

days.

MIDDLEBURG MAN ASSAULTS STATE TROOPERS


Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove were called to assist the Selinsgrove Police Department with a domestic incident on South Market Street in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County.


They arrived to find that James Adee, 55 of Middleburg, had assaulted his ex girlfriend, a 52 year old Selinsgrove woman. Adee also broke the windshield of the victim's truck.


When Adee was placed under arrest, he began kicking, headbutting, and spitting on both PA State Troopers and Selinsgrove Police Officers.


Adee was taken into custody and arraigned before District Magistrate Bo Trawitz. Adee has been charged with Aggravated Assault on Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest, False Imprisonment, Harassment, and Criminal Mischief. Adee was lodged at the Snyder County Prison on $125,000 bail.



FERMANAGH TOWNSHIP CRASH


Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a two vehicle crash on Arch Rock Road in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.


Bryer Kirk, 24 of Mifflintown, was traveling west on Arch Rock Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. Kirk's 2013 Chrysler 200 struck a park pickup in a parking lot. Kirk's vehicle sustained disabling damage, the truck suffered minor damage.


Kirk was not injured in the crash and was wearing a seatbelt. Kirk was charge in the 10:13pm crash.



NEW BLOOMFIELD SHOPLIFTING


Pennsylvania State Police at Newport responded to Centre Drive in Centre Township, Perry County.


The Karn's Food Store reported an incident of retail theft. Multiple food items were taken from the store.


A 25 year old Newport woman has been charged in the incident.
