MONROE TOWNSHIP CHILD WELFARE
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to Crater Hill Road in Monroe Township, Juniata County.
Someone reported to police that two adults were smoking marijuana around juveniles. The report lists an 11 year old male from Lewistown as the victim. The incident remains under investigation.
THREE VEHICLE CRASH
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a three vehicle crash on Route 35 near Bunkertown Road in Fayette Township, Juniata County.
Charles Trelease, 52 of Orangeville, was traveling northbound when his 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz left the rodway and struck the guiderail. The vehicle crossed the roadway striking a utility pole. The impact caused the utility pole to fall on the roadway. The pole was then struck by a second vehicle, operated by Taylor Haines, 23 of Oakland Mills. A third vehicle driven by Delvin Geigley, 30 of McAlisterville, swerved to miss Haines' vehicle and struck the utility pole.
Haines suffered minor injuries and Geigley was not injured. Trelease was also not injured and was not wearing his seatbelt. Trelease was cited in the crash.
DELWARE TOWNSHIP HIT AND RUN
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a hit and run on Duward Station Road in Delaware Township, Juniata County.
An unknown vehicle struck a 2012 Honda Odyssey and fled the scene. The owner of the vehicle, Margaret Graybill, 69 of Thompsontown, observed the damage and contacted PSP.
FERMANAGH TOWNSHIP DOMESTIC
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an active domestic in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County.
Harrassment charges were filed against William Galbraith, 75 of Mifflintown, and Diane Galbraith, 72 of Mifflintown, following an incident at a Vincent Street home.
Charges were filed through District Court.
SPORTS:
Both the Juniata boys and girls soccer teams have made it to their District 6 Championships. At 5pm the boys will take on West Shamokin in their AA championship, then at 7pm the girls will take on Forest Hills in their AA championship. Both games will be played at Mansion Park in Altoona and can be heard on Juniata County Radio.
