WALKER TOWNSHIP BOY ESCAPES ABDUCTION
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were called to Locust Run Road in Walker Township, Juniata county for an attempted abduction.
A 9 year old amish boy was force into a "light colored, possible white, van or SUV" that stopped at the boy's residence. The driver of the van forced the boy into the vehicle, drove a short distance, and then the boy escaped.
PSP describes the suspect as wearing glasses, around 30 years old, wearing gray pants and a gray short sleeved t shirt.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown at 717-320-1010.
RYE TOWNSHIP HOMICIDE
Pennsylvania State Police at Newport were called to New Valley Road in Rye Township, Perry County for a reported Domestic Dispute.
Upond arrival, police found a 38 year old Marysville woman deceased at the residence. Douglas Snyder, 56 of Marysville, was then invterviewed by police. Following the interview, Snyder was charged with Criminal Homicide and Endagering the Welfare of Children.
Snyder is lodged at the Perry County Prison and was denied bail.
DELWARE TOWNSHIP ACCIDENT
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a two vehicle crash on William Penn Highway at Oberlin Road in Delware Township, Juniata County.
Abbygail Lukens, 22 of Thompsontown, was traveling east on William Penn Highway when she sneezed and lost control of her 2000 Buick Century. The vehicle struck the guide rail which caused Lukens' vehicle to travel into the path of a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle operated by Ethan Good, 70 of Green Lane, Montgomery County.
Lukens suffered minor injuries in the crash. Good escaped injury. Both operators were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
