Brad Strawser has been part of JCR since 2016. First started recording weathers and now is updates our website, is the Sports Director and in the controlling partner group! Brad's all over the county for us and hosts the station's first podcast: Racing Roundup (which has been a show long before podcasts existed!)
Bill Jacquemin has decades of forecasting experience. You might say he can spot every curveball the weather tosses our way! Straight-talking, easy-to-understand and to-the-point, Bill is the voice we need to keep ahead of the ever-changing Pennsylvania weather!
If you’ve listened to JCR for more than 20 minutes, odds are you’ve heard Rowan Smith’s voice. He’s done many commercials, features and sports broadcasts. Most notably, he’s anchored many an EJ Basketball game. Rowan is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the JCR family!
Rocco Pellegrino is currently anchoring Juniata Basketball broadcasts. He describes himself as a Joe Buck and Joe Davis enthusiast, with way too much unnecessary knowledge about the New Orleans Saints. He’s also avidly against the use of the Oxford comma. He also earns the award for longest commute to work, best dressed for a bio pic, and well, that’s it...just wanted to get that Oxford comma in there!
Rhylee Hair is the newest member of the JCR team! She's full of energy and personality (probably comes from years of being camp counselor). She is a Swiftie, but everyone is entitled to one character flaw. She doesn't know this yet but when JCR broadcasts high school trampoline competition, she's got the play-by-play!
Zach Seyko is part of the dynamic sales team for Juniata County Radio. He’s also hosted numerous programs and podcasts and pretty much sleeps for 20 minutes a day. We think he’s still working though for that 20 minutes!.
Meteorologist Seth Cohen: A 2019 graduate of Penn State, Seth C was the THIRD Seth on the JCR payroll. After delivering forecasts to JCR as a student with the PSU Campus Weather Service, it was only fitting that he remain after graduation. Seth C now does the weekend forecasts on Wheels as well as the JCR Friday Night Football forecast.
The Penn State Campus Weather Service has been servicing Juniata County Radio with forecasts since 2015. We love these meteorology students and we really love this guy! Luke Snyder has officially joined the JCR team in 2023, helping with production, news and a new in-depth weather program called the Juniata County OutLuke! He’s also recently discovered an addiction to freeze-dried Skittles! We’re so glad to have Luke as part of the family!
Bob St Clair: Bob has been a teacher in the JCSD since 1995. He spent 21 years at Juniata High School and his been at the Jr High ever since teaching some form of Computer and Computer Science. He was one of the few in the room when the idea to form JCR was born. He is a member and is the Organist for Messiah Lutheran Church of Mifflintown and serves as tech support for several churches in the area.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his mother, brother and other family and friends.
