LEWISTOWN MAN PASSES OUT IN HIS FORMER HOME
Lewistown Police were called to the 100 block of Pannebaker Avenue for a reported Criminal Trespass.
The current resident at the address reported that Dane McCardle had moved out of the residence several months prior. While the current tenant was in the shower, McCardle entered the home impaired and passed out on the couch.
Officers talked with McCardle who acknowledged that he no longer lived at the residence. McCardle was taken into custody, charged with Criminal Mischief and transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
WAYNE TOWNSHIP MEETING ALTERCATION
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an incident on Ferguson Valley Road in Wayne Township, Mifflin County.
Upon arrival at the scene, PSP discovered that during the township meeting a altercation had occured. Rose Walker, 69 of McVeytown, had attempted to subject Ralph Miles, 63 of McVeytown, to unwanted physical contact.
The incident remains under investigation.
JUNIATA COUNTY RESIDENTS FLEE SCENE OF CRASH
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a single vehicle crash in Lack Township, Juniata County.
Barry Foster Jr, 68 of East Waterford, was operating his 1996 Subaru Legacy on Woodside Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle then struck a utility pole and came to rest facing southbound.
Foster and his passenger, Troy Brown, 60 of Honey Grove, both fled the scene and located at Foster's residence. Signs of impairment were observed and both Foster and Brown were transported by Lack Tuscarora EMS to Lewistown Hospital. Brown sustained suspected minor injuries in the crash.
Foster was charged for DUI/Unsafe driving in the incident.
TUSCARORA TOWNSHIP DRUG POSSESSION
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown have filed charges against an East Waterford man following an incident on Route 75 in Tuscarora Township, Juniata County.
PSP was assisting Constable Nedd as he was serving a warrant. While serving the warrent, Graeme Goshord, 44 of East Waterford, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Charges have been filed through Magisterial District Court.
WALKER TOWNSHIP CRASH
Five people escaped injury in a single vehicle crash on Old Route 22 in Walker Township, Juniata County.
Courtney Miller, 41 of Lewistown, was operating her 2024 Toyota Rav4 just east of Center Road when a deer entered the roadway. Miller was unable to avoid the deer. Miller, and her passengers, William Miller, 42 of Lewistown; Richard Chamberlain, 65 of Hastings, Michigan; Denise Chamberlain, 66 of Hastings, Michigan; and Linda Colvin, 66 of Lewistown all escaped injury. All occupants were wearing seatbelts in the 7:55pm crash.

HIGH LIMIT SPRINT CAR SERIES ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE
The Kabota High Limit Sprint Car Series has announced their 2026 schedule. Port Royal Speedway will be the track that the series visits most in 2026.
In addition to the normal Bob Weikert Memorial and Tuscarora 50 dates, the series will add a July visit to the speedway.

BOYS SOCCER
Juniata will face Tulpehocken in the first round of the PIAA AA Boys Soccer State Tournament. The game will be played at Mifflin County High School at 6pm. The game can be heard on Juniata County Radio starting at around 5:50.
