JUNIATA COUNTY THEFTS

Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating two thefts in Juniata County.

Pharus Holley, 41 of Thompsontown reported someone stole a grill and propane tank from his home on Oakhurst Lane in Thompsontown Borough.

Dean Moyer, 57 of Mifflintown, reported to police that a step ladder valued at $99 was stolen from 146 Foster Street in Walker Township.

Both incidents were investigated by PSP Lewistown.

DERRY TOWNSHIP DUI

Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Hyundai Tucson on West Freedom Avenue in Derry Township, Mifflin County.

Katarina Warner, 32 of Lewistown, was found to be impaired during the stop. Warner was charged through district court.

LEWISTOWN MAN HAS FOOT RAN OVER BY VEHICLE.

Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an incident on Delaware Avenue in Juniata Terrace Borough, Mifflin County.

A 52 year old Lewistown man reported to police that an incident occured where his foot was ran over by a suspect. There was no physical evidence and the man decided not to press charges in the incident.

PENNDOT INVITES STUDENTS TO JOIN INOVATION CHALLENGE

 The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites high school students throughout the state to participate in this year’s PennDOT Innovations Challenge, which encourages students to use their problem-solving, creative and strategic-thinking abilities to solve real-world transportation challenges in a competition among their peers. The Innovations Challenge is open to all students in grades 9-12, regardless of their school's learning model.
