ADDITIONAL REPORTED ATTEMPTED CHILD ABDUCTION
According to a post by Port Royal Borough, there was another attempted abduction of a child in Juniata County on Route 333 just outside of Port Royal.
According to the post, two males attempted to lure a 9 year old amish girl to the road. When the female didn't come, the men tried to lasso the girl. The mother was close by and the suspects sped away.
No additional details were available at the time of this post. Further updates will be posted when available.
This attempted abductions comes after a boy escaped a vehicle on Locust Run Road in Walker Township, Juniata County that had abducted him just a few weeks ago. CLICK HERE for more about that story.
NORTHUMBERLAND ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE
Police are releasing information on an attempted homicide in Northumberland County. On Saturday morning police were dispatched to Upper Road in East Cameron Township for a report of a stabbing.
Earlier in the day, 32 year old Brian Koinski and 27 year old Joshua Cohoon, who reside in the same house, were engaged in an argument over money. At 3 AM, police say Cohoon entered Koinski’s bedroom and began stabbing him with a knife. Cohoon was able to retrieve help by going into another bedroom.
A witness who also resides there described blood on Koinski’s face and squirting from his body. The witness was able to bear hug Cohoon while Koinski was able to flee for help. Cohoon then began to inflict self harm with the knife. It was learned that Cohoon suffers from multiple mental health disoders and recently stopped taking his meds.
Both are in Geisinger Medical Center and are expected to make a full recovery. Charges and a warrant are awaiting Cohoon.
VEHICLE VANDALIZED IN MIFFLIN
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report of a vandalized vehicle in Mifflin Borough, Juniata County.
Gabriel Burns, 18 of Mifflin, reported that his 1998 Chevrolet was damaged. Logan Fuhrman, 18 of Landisburg, a 17 year old from Loysville, and a 17 year old from Mifflin were charged in the incident.
MCALISTERVILLE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to School Street in Fayette Township, Juniata County for an active domestic.
Lacey Alexander, 31 of McAlisterville reported her doorknob was damaged in an altercation with Jordanthony Hockenberry, 34 of East Waterford.
Hockenberry was charged in the incident.
